Nearly 300 dinner guests attended the CCS Annual Dinner and Auction on July 17 at the LCC Center for Meeting and Learning. Through the generous contributions of corporate sponsors and individuals, in excess of $50,000 was raised from the evening's events.

The dinner program featured the presentation of the 2009 Murnane Social Justice Award to John Aarons following some readings and reflections by Portland magazine editor and author Brian Doyle, as well as the presentation of the Mary Hull Volunteer of the Year Award to Anthony "AJ" Jackson for his extraordinary service to Catholic Community Services.
