Catholic Community Services distributes 15 tons of food per week to those in need. Almost all of this food comes through our regional food bank, Food for Lane County.
Food for Lane County collects the food, and organizations like Catholic Community Services distribute the food to those in need. It’s a great partnership that has been working well for many years.
If you have food items to donate, we suggest you give the food directly to Food for Lane County through one of its many collection programs. Click here for more information about donating food to Food for Lane County.
When you give food to Food for Lane County, there’s a good chance that some of it will be distributed by Catholic Community Services. Last year we distributed more than 20% of all the food collected by Food for Lane County.
If it’s more convenient, you can also donate food (fresh produce and non-perishables) directly to Catholic Community Services. We’ll distribute the food to those in need. We will also let Food for Lane County know how much food is donated directly to us, so that it can be included in the total amount of food generated for Lane County.
Deliver donated food to either of our locations Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
