Rental Housing Counselors are available to assist with:

  • Rental Housing searches
  • Applying for low-income unit waitlists
  • Completing applications
  • Referral services to assist with barriers to housing

NOTE: In order to meet one-on-one with a Rental Housing Counselor, you must first attend a 1-hour group Housing Orientation, held at the CCS Springfield Center on Mondays at 1:30 p.m.

Advance registration is required to attend a group Housing Orientation. To register, please call or come in to one of our Service Centers. You must speak to a staff member to register.

Emergency Rental and Deposit Assistance

Emergency rental assistance is provided to those who are eligible, as funding is available. Call 541-345-3628 ext 408 Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to check the status of the rental assistance waiting list. Please note that funding is limited and getting onto the waiting list is not a guarantee that you will qualify or receive assistance.
