About Us

Our Catholic roots shape our mission, but our services are open to everyone. Whether you come to us for assistance, to volunteer, to partner with us, or to join our team, you are welcome — regardless of your faith, beliefs, background, or life experience.

We meet every person exactly where they are — with kindness, understanding, and without judgment.

Our Mission

We live out Christ's call to 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' by offering hope to all those seeking food and basic needs, housing stability, and immigration services.

We are neighbors helping neighbors—many of our staff have walked similar paths to those we serve, bringing deep empathy and understanding to every interaction. We believe that when crisis strikes, community response can transform lives, and that sustainable change happens when we address not just immediate needs but also remove the barriers that keep people from reaching their full potential.

Our Vision

Inspired by Christ's love, all neighbors are welcomed and living hope-filled, self-sufficient lives.

Leadership Team

Our leadership team embodies the heart of our mission—"Loving Thy Neighbor"—through decades of collective experience in human services, community development, and social justice advocacy. Led by individuals who understand both the complexities of poverty and homelessness and the transformative power of compassionate action, our leaders bring diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and expertise to guide CCS's work throughout Lane County.

We believe that effective leadership in human services requires both strategic vision and humble hearts, balancing the urgency of immediate needs with the patience required for systemic change. Under their guidance, CCS continues to evolve and expand our impact while staying true to our foundational commitment to treat every person with dignity, respect, and unconditional love.
